Our Projects. Made with love.

Revyver Labs is a repository of projects—from themes, to documents, to code—offered to the public, free of charge to learn from, utilize or contribute to. This is our way of helping people grow and thrive on the web. Again, we don't charge for anything on Labs, but we do consider it a form of donationware. Also, 50% of all donations will go towards the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, or the ASPCA. So you’ll be helping animals, much like our fellow feline coworkers, escape their abusive pasts and find loving homes.
This project was released as part of Revyver's 2nd birthday celebration on July 1st, 2008. The repository will continue to grow as time passes, so make sure to spread the word, bookmark it for yourself and buy us some boba milk tea if you feel like it.

Django Plugables is a system that aggregates and provides information on numerous 3rd party reusable applications, or "pluggables" for the Django web framework. It aims to bring the spotlight not only to the popular pluggable applications, but those who get lost in the Google Code searches. Even a repository list is provided with commit paths for ease of use.
This project was released on April 10, 2008 and currently store information on 100 projects. More features will be added soon! As soon as we can think of them that is. ;)

Hello!Ranking is a ranking game provided to the fans of Japanese Pop idol supergroup, Hello! Project (H!P). The game allows members to rank the different groups as well as individual artists. Results from these rankings will be aggregated onto pages for groups and individual artists, displaying their current ranking, history, trend graph and related news events.
This is currently in-development. You might not use it, but you might know somebody who will. If you’re into Django, know your way around complicated data structures and don’t mind giving us a few tips, throw us an email.

Avalonstar is Bryan's design and personal blog. Why is it considered part of Revyver? Well, Avalonstar needed an umbrella and Revyver was happy to lend itself as one. He usually likes to blog about whatever's on his mind, whether related to design, anything closely resembling sanity, or not. Avalonstar actually predates Revyver by about 6 years, and was supposed to be the "design firm" before being turned into a blog.
After a stint of a hell of a lot of debugging, coding and slicing, Avalonstar has finally reached the end of the tunnel and has been live since March 26th.
Hi Jen! Hi Bryan! So... what's going on here? o_O;
Hi! ^_^v Well, let’s tell you a little bit our operation. Just to let you know, we’re a little bit different from the rest.
We’re engaged, we’re gamers, we’re Japan-o-philes, but we’re creative. We’re two halves of a whole and Revyver wouldn’t exist without both. She’s the thinker, the dreamer, the muse, the community-insider, the J-pop addict; otherwise known as the “better-half.” He’s the designer, the coder, the business-guy, the blogger and the guy who listens to his RPG music stuck on repeat-once.
If you'd prefer a little more than that, well here it is.
Bryan's been in the business since 2000 and has had an interest in the art of design since the age of 13. In 2005, he graduated with a BA in Entrepreneurship from Johnson & Wales University. Although they taught him how to start a restaurant, he decided to start Revyver instead in 2006 after working for Facebook. Through Revyver, he's done work for the browser company, Flock (what's currently up is not his) and the social networking blog, Mashable.
Jen's Revyver's "Head of Concept" and been using the internet for as long as Bryan has. Formerly an aspiring manga artist, she has since changed her focus to Japanese linguistics and will be entering the University of Washington for just that in the fall with a dream of someday living in Japan (Bryan's not against it either). Jen brings a lot to the table in terms of thinking outside the box with her experience in anything Japanese, from culture and history to popular music.
